A Massive Recall for Martha Stewart

Cassandra Talmadge

If Santa left a new frying pan under the tree this year, you might want to check the label. A staggering 121,000 Martha Stewart pieces are being pulled from shelves.

Every health foodie knows the excitement of getting new cookware. Especially considering it gives you an excuse to finally whip up one of the healthy chicken recipes on your Pinterest board. Unfortunately, that excitement may come to an abrupt halt if you received one of Martha Stewart’s 10-piece stainless steel cookware sets from Macys available between January 2011 and September 2015. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Macy's is recalling the sets due to a potential injury hazard.

The agency advised consumers to immediately stop using the frying pans after three injuries were reported from flying metal disks. If you haven’t been hit by the metal discs that cover the frying pan’s rivets yet, you may be in the clear. Nonetheless, return the recalled set and pick up one of these 40 Things Healthy Cooks Always Have in Their Kitchen instead.
