WSJ: To Curb Bone Loss, A Certain Amount Of Exercise Is Needed
"Older women at risk of osteoporosis should participate in high-impact exercise, including weight training, at least twice a week to maintain bone density as they age, says a study in the journal Bone. NY TIMES: Sleep Problems Tied To Diabetes In Men
"Men who do not get enough sleep — or get too much — may have an increased risk for Type 2 diabetes, a new study suggests. The average sleep time for both men and women was about seven hours. As the men diverged from the average, in either direction, their glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity decreased, gradually increasing the deleterious health effects.
