SCIENCE DAILY: The Waiter’s Weight: Heavy Waiters Mean Heavier Meals

"Whether you order a dessert or a drink might depend on your waiter. It's not what they say; it's how much they weigh. A new Cornell Food and Brand Lab study of 497 diners in 60 restaurants shows that diners who ordered their dinner from heavier wait staff were four times more likely to order dessert, and ordered 17% more alcohol." BBC: Obesity ‘Linked To Cancer Rise’

"Rising levels of obesity and unhealthy weights could be linked to 670,000 extra cases of cancer in the next 20 years, a UK report predicts. If current trends continue, experts say, almost three in four adults could be overweight or obese by 2035, bringing a host of health issues.
