Baskin-Robbins Is Now Delivering Ice Cream to Your Door
Starting this week, more than 1,600 Baskin-Robbins locations across the country will offer delivery through the Uber Eats app and website. So, if you're already ordering dinner and have a craving for one of the chain's myriad flavors (like, say, pumpkin cheesecake, which is the current flavor of the month), you can tack it on and enjoy a sweet nightcap without going on a dessert run. "We're excited to bring the convenience of delivery to even more guests who are looking for ways to enjoy their favorite Baskin-Robbins treats at home," said Nicole Boutwell, Director of Digital Marketing, Baskin-Robbins in a statement. "As people continue to find comfort in ice cream and sweet treats from our specialty ice cream shops, we're very excited to team up with Uber Eats to expand our easy ordering and contactless delivery options to our loyal guests nationwide."
For an additional incentive to order delivery, the ice cream chain will reward customers who spend at least $10 on their Uber Eats order by wiping the delivery fee from the bill. The limited-time promotion starts today, Oct. 29, and will last until Nov. 4. So, instead of digging into a bag of Halloween candy this weekend, why not try shaking things up and having the dessert come to you? Speaking of the spooky holiday, Baskin-Robbins has also dished out a timely indulgence: Creature Creations.
Currently, there are four different kinds of DIY Creature Creations Kits you can order for delivery: Unicorn, Mermaid, Monster, and Variety. The kit includes two pre-packed quarts of your ice cream flavor of choice, sprinkles, five of your selected Creature's distinctive toppers, festive napkins, cups, and spoons. The kits are priced at $24.99 and are meant to be shared. Creature Creations could be an epic addition to your in-house celebrations this year, especially on Halloween!
