Costco Just Launched A New Service For The COVID-19 Vaccine
Costco has been busy with its COVID-19 vaccine rollout, and now it is making it easier for you to find out if you're eligible to get it at a warehouse in your state.
Instead of listing the states the chain is distributing the vaccine in on its vaccine webpage, Costco now has an external scheduling service that tracks available appointments in your area. (Related: Costco Foods You Should Always Avoid, According to Nutritionists.)
Currently, all individuals age 16 and over can get the Pfizer vaccine. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson shots are authorized for those age 18 and older.
How to book your Costco COVID-19 Vaccine
To use the Costco appointment service, all you have to do is go to Costco.com/covid-vaccine and click on "All US Locations." Then click the link, select "Get Started," and choose the warehouse pharmacy location that is nearest to you.
If the location you choose says "We're sorry, but there are no resources available for your selection," that means no appointments can be scheduled there at the moment. "We are receiving a limited amount of vaccine and if no appointments are available…Please check back at a later time," Costco notes, "and do not contact the local Costco pharmacy as they are unable to schedule an appointment."
This isn't the only development the chain has made regarding the pandemic recently. Samples are back — but with a twist, and Costco is also getting rid of this long-standing COVID-19 rule finally. Plus, here are the items you can now order again at the food court!
