Pizza lovers, it just got even easier to get your Ultimate Pepperoni without lifting more than a finger. Domino’s, the largest pizza company in the world, just announced that it will be delivering pizzas to over 150,000 “hotspots” across the country. You can now get your pie sent straight to the beach, your favorite park, or your university’s library.
“We listened to customers and their need for pizza delivery to locations without a traditional address,” Russell Weiner, president of Domino’s USA, explained. “We know that delivery is all about convenience, and Domino’s Hotspots are an innovation that is all about flexible delivery options for customers.”
Wondering how you can take advantage of the pizza behemoth’s newest innovation? Just log onto Dominos.com or download the mobile app. After your location is determined, the local hotspots will pop up on a map for you to select, and you can also leave detailed instructions for your delivery driver before placing your order. When the driver arrives, text messages are exchanged until the official hand-off is complete.
“Now customers spending time at some of our new Domino’s Hotspots locations, like Tommy Lasorda Field of Dreams in Los Angeles or even next to the James Brown statue in Augusta, Georgia, can have a pizza conveniently delivered to them, thanks to our innovative Domino’s Delivery Hotspots,” says Weiner.
Visiting the Liberty Bell and feeling a little peckish? Domino’s will deliver your pie before your guided tour is even over. The same is true if you’re touring the Met, walking the National Mall, or hiking around the Grand Canyon. You get the picture. For now, there is also no extra fee for Hotspot ordering—just the traditional delivery fees and tips.
