Dunkin' is Opening This Special New Location in Tennessee
One of Dunkin's newest stores, which is solely operating as a drive-thru, is officially open for business as of yesterday, Nov. 16—making it the very first drive-thru-only restaurant in the great state of Tennessee, reports local news site The Chattanoogan.
Located at 3334 Broad St. in Chattanooga, this special Dunkin' location still serves up the coffee chain's beloved beverages and breakfast items, but you'll never have to get out of our car in order to get them. Plus, out of over 8,500 Dunkin' restaurants in 41 states across the country, this one is the first to have an On-the-Go drive-thru lane. Meaning: DD Perks members who order ahead of time using Dunkin's app can use their own lane to cruise up to the window and pick up their coffee and/or food faster. This Dunkin' location in Tennessee is the first to have such a special drive-thru lane, Dunkin' officials told The Chattanoogan—and it's apparently also the first of any restaurant chain to have a designated drive-thru lane for rewards members.
But blink, and you may just miss the new Dunkin', as it's a lot smaller than your typical brick-and-mortar spot. In fact, the building is only 900-square-feet, making it incredibly eco-friendly. Dunkin' says it will save 25 percent more energy compared to one of their standard locations.
Although it is small, it is mighty in its offerings, serving up eight different types of cold drinks on tap. Yes, an innovative tap system supplies a (mostly) endless stream of cold brew, coffees, iced teas, and nitro-infused cold brew. For a more festive and cozy option, drive-thru customers can order Dunkin's three holiday-themed drinks, including The Peppermint Mocha Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Chai Oatmilk Latte.
