This Grocery Chain Just Launched a Nostalgia-Filled '90s Snack Site

It's got everything—from Froot Loops to the "Saved By the Bell" color palette.

If you're a fan of lunchbox staples and other relics of childhood snacking, you'll love Stop & Shop's new website highlighting the most beloved foods from the '90s. (Remember dinnertime creations from the era? Refresh your memory with 13 Foods That Were All the Rage in the '90s.)

The retailer has launched a website where you can shop snack assortments across several curated categories, such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and desserts and beverages. The products include some of the decade's most recognizable staples: Chips Ahoy!, Froot Loops, Fruit Gushers, Pop-Tarts, Totino's Pizza Rolls, Sunny D, and Yoplait Go-GURT. But the online shopping platform—titled "The '90s—A Decade of Unforgettable Foods"—is as much a shopping experience as a throwback to the '90s aesthetic, with elements of the site's design directly inspired by the archetypal "Saved By the Bell" color palette. The confluence of the pop colors and the retro products is no accident, as Stop & Shop says the new project was inspired by pandemic shifts toward "sentimental shopping" and familiar comfort foods.

"Food is a source of comfort for many people, and making sure our stores are stocked with customer favorites—new and old—is a top priority for our brand," Gordon Reid, president of Stop & Shop, says in a statement.

While you can get all of these products at various retailers, having all your childhood favorites neatly curated on a website that brings a joyful shopping experience to boot may just be the cure for winter blues.
