Here's How You Can Win a Free Trip to Nutella's New Pop-Up Hotel
Winter vacation is now officially nuts. The folks at Nutella have just done the Brothers Grimm one better by announcing the first-ever Nutella-inspired pop-up hotel, fittingly named Hotella Nutella, in California's Napa Valley. Like something out of a fairy tale, the residence is decked out with larger-than-life jars of Nutella, Nutella-inspired breakfast décor, and hotel furnishings straight off of a Ferrero Rocher mood-board.
Also, like any magically enchanted home, Hotella Nutella isn't long for this world—and before it dissolves into the stuff of Instagram-friendly legend, it's only available to a limited number of guests.
Starting today, November 13th, Nutella is inviting its super-fans (in other words, everyone) to enter a contest for the chance to win a three-day, all-expenses-paid stay at the hotel, from January 10th to 12th, 2020. Contestants need to only complete a short online application and submit a one-minute video explaining why Nutella makes their breakfast special. Entries will then be judged on passion, creativity, and insight. (If you've hit a creative wall, steal this one-word tip: Waffles. Lots of waffles.)
Three winners (plus one guest each) will then be selected and flown out to Hotella Nutella for a unique three-day dining experience, during which they will savor an unforgettable spree of Nutella-inspired breakfast-themed meals. The company has gone all-out in assembling a star-studded culinary team to cater the event, and guests will have the chance not only to dine with the pros, but to learn from them, too.
The talented and immensely popular chefs at Dancakes, the pancake artist team, will host a crash course in pancake design (which, yes, is just as fun as it is tasty). Tanya Holland, the culinary maven and chef-proprietor of the Bay Area's famous Brown Sugar Kitchen, will treat guests to her signature modern soul and comfort food—with a Nutella-y twist. Finally, Geoffrey Zakarian, of Iron Chef and Foot Network fame, will serve up a decadent breakfast-themed dinner (featuring a whole bunch of Nutella, of course).
"We hope our guests learn how to recreate the magic of Hotella Nutella at home, giving them more opportunities to gather with friends and family to enjoy a special breakfast," Todd Midura, the VP of marketing for Nutella North America, said in a press release.
