McDonald's Is Celebrating Halloween With This Free Perk
Halloween is a "kids holiday" that no one ever really grows out of, because who doesn't love all the fun activities that surround getting into the #spookyszn spirit? From trick-or-treating to horror movie marathons and pumpkin carving parties, the whole week leading up to October 31 can be a busy one. Subsequently, meal planning probably isn't your first priority—which is why Halloween is up there as one of the top food delivery days of the whole year.
To offer a convenient (and wallet-friendly) solution, McDonald's is stepping up to the plate. McDelivery on Uber Eats is offering $0 Delivery Fee on orders of $25 or more, providing McD's food right to your door, from Thursday, October 29 through Sunday, November 1. With this delivery offer, you can easily order a quick bite to eat while you put on your face paint and prep for the evening's festivities. Isn't it the worst when you want to order something fast and inexpensive, but the delivery fee is scarier than your costume? Exactly…
To take advantage of this offer, all you need to do is download the Uber Eats App for iOS or Android, log in, and order whatever and however much you want, the fast-food chain says. The $0 Delivery Fee deal applies to participating locations on Uber Eats and expires 11:59 p.m. on November 1. (Related: 9 Restaurant Chains That Closed Hundreds of Locations This Summer.)
Added perk: if the kids in your life (and okay, you too) are looking for an excuse to play with your food and keep the celebrations going, McDonald's is also dishing out some Halloween-themed "menu hacks" as inspiration.
For instance, create "Fry Fangs" by dipping two fries into ketchup and hanging them from each side of your mouth like a vampire, or turn your burger or sandwich into a spider by sticking eight fries halfway under the bun so they peek out like legs (aka, the Itsy Bitsy Burger). Peep them all in the video below.
And since you're probably having that Milky Way for dessert (it's Halloween, after all!), consider ordering one of McDonald's healthier menu items to help keep your health and weight loss goals on track.
