Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Go to This Drive-Thru So Often, the Staff Know Their Order
Fast food is hardly synonymous with royalty, but Meghan Markle just revealed that she and Prince Harry are major fans of one particular burger brand.
Variety recently spoke with Meghan, covering a range of topics including the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, producing content for Spotify and Netflix with her husband, and their big move to California back in 2020. During the interview, Markle mentioned that many assume the royal pair and their two young children, Archie and Lilibet, live in the heart of Los Angeles.
"People sometimes think we live in Los Angeles, but we're a good two hours outside of it. We're commuters," she told the outlet, before adding that there is an In-N-Out restaurant located about halfway between their home and Los Angeles—and they visit it often. Harry and Meghan apparently stop by so frequently that the staff know their regular order.
"Also, my husband's favorite is In-N-Out. There's one at the halfway point between L.A. and our neck of the woods. It's really fun to go through the drive-thru and surprise them. They know our order," she explained.
Considering Meghan is a self-proclaimed "foodie", it's somewhat surprising to hear her talking about burgers and fries from a fast-food drive-thru. But, anyone who's ever tried In-N-Out will understand. Infamously exclusive to the West Coast, it is routinely named as one of, if not the best, fast-food chains out there today.

Unfortunately, Meghan didn't mention what she and her husband usually order, but In-N-Out's menu isn't all that big in the first place (besides the "not so secret menu"). We're thinking a Double-Double for the Duke of Sussex and a simpler cheeseburger for the Duchess? We could also see them getting Animal-Style fries like true insiders.
Generally, Meghan's diet is very healthy. She once said green vegetable juice is her go-to afternoon snack, and that she usually starts her days with oats and fruit. Prince Harry has also reportedly adopted a healthier diet since becoming a U.S. resident. So can you blame them for craving a burger every now and then?
