This Beloved Gourmet Dessert Chain Is Opening 60 New Locations

The better-for-you cinnamon rolls could be coming to your neighborhood.

The better-for-you cinnamon roll chain, which the general public got to know through ABC's show Shark Tank, is having a moment. If you've seen their appearance on the show, you'll remember that the sharks fell in love with Cinnaholic Bakery's customizable, gourmet cinnamon rolls at first taste. When founders Florian and Shannon Radke revealed that the desserts were also 100% vegan, their amazement with the product was amplified. The California-based chain is now planning a significant expansion through franchising, and the special cinnamon roll experience could be coming to your neighborhood soon.

Cinnaholic currently operates 56 locations across the United States and Canada, two of which were opened just this year. Since the beginning of the year, the company has penned 16 new agreements with franchisees and it currently has 60 new locations in development. The chain will also add ten new bakeries, which supply their stores, to their footprint by the end of this year alone.

According to QSR Magazine, the brand has additionally seen a 137% increase in year-over-year same store sales with their three-pronged approach of online ordering, third-party delivery, and new innovative menu items. Think Sparkle Berry, Tropical Bliss, and Cookie Monster rolls, which are among their signature items.

But besides the cornucopia of the popular sticky rolls, which can be customized with more than 20 different frosting flavors and dozens of additional toppings, the chain also offers made-from-scratch brownies, cookies, and edible cookie dough. All of their products are 100% dairy- and lactose-free (and cholesterol-free!) and made with high-quality ingredients.
