Costco Is Now Offering Two-Day Delivery On These Food Items
Taking a trip to the Costco warehouse in the area is an experience, to say the least, but if you're pressed for time and can't get there, the grocery chain will ship some items right to your doorstep. Up until now, there were only a few select products, but Costco just added cold and frozen foods to the list of items available for 2-day delivery, joining non-perishables, according to some eagle-eyed fans on Reddit.
The frozen and cold meat, poultry, seafood, deli items, cheese and dairy, and beverages ship free for orders of $100 or more.
Few details are given by Costco themselves, but Reddit user @CostcoPanda, who responded to a request for info from any Costco insiders from another user, says there are 13 Business Centers currently shipping out the cold and frozen items.
The 2-day delivery service for cold and frozen items, like regular 2-day orders, is operated by Costco. If you need your order the same day, it will be fulfilled through Instacart. Typically they can be delivered within an hour, and only items in the warehouse are available. There is a minimum order total of $35 and is available in most metropolitan areas depending on the ZIP code. However, the prices may include a service and delivery fee since it is operated by a third-party delivery service.
Don't want to wait two days and don't want to pay delivery fees to Instacart? Costco started testing curbside pickup recently, and if all goes well, it could expand.
Good news! You can now get one of the most popular frozen treats in the warehouse again— the Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk Bar is back after disappearing for a few weeks amid a Boba shortage.
