Dunkin' Just Launched These Three New Beloved Iced Coffee Flavors
If you missed out on the Girl Scout Cookie delivery news this year—or even if you didn't—you'll be delighted to know what Dunkin's been brewing. The chain just announced that they've teamed up once more with the Girl Scouts on three new Girl Scout Cookie-inspired iced coffees, available today in bottle form for the first time ever.
The Dunkin' x Girl Scouts collaboration, announced today, brings Thin Mints, S'Mores, and Coconut Caramel Iced Coffee flavors to Dunkin' locations, as well as to the shelves at Walmart, Family Dollar, and CVS stores nationwide. (Note the Coconut Caramel flavor was previously known as the long-revered "Samoa," but due to trademark regulations unrelated to the Dunkin' collab, the Girl Scouts changed the cookie's name in recent years.)
The Dunkin' x Girl Scouts iced coffees come in a 13.7-ounce bottle, but they don't necessarily get a badge for being a nutritious pick. Each of the three flavors has 250 calories, just under 40 grams of sugar, 7 to 8 grams of fat, and 187 milligrams of caffeine (or the equivalent of about three shots of espresso) per bottle.
Dunkin' first introduced Girl Scout Cookie-inspired iced coffees back in 2018 to coincide with the beloved Girl Scout Cookie season. However, for the past few years, these coffees were only available in-store as hot or iced coffee, Cold Brew, frozen coffee, and frozen chocolate.
This year, the brand has enlisted the Coca-Cola Company to help produce and distribute ready-to-drink, bottled units. Girl Scouts USA's Chief Revenue Officer, Barry Horowitz, said in a press release that this move is reminiscent of the Girl Scout spirit. "Girl Scout Cookies are the vehicle for girls to learn important entrepreneurship and leadership skills that set them up for success in life, and our licensed products help carry that message across the country."
