Guy Fieri Is Expanding His Restaurant Chain To This Florida City

The new Chicken Guy! joint has local fans eagerly awaiting its opening.

The star of the legendary Food Network show, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, is set to open a brand-new location of his beloved restaurant chain in a new part of Florida. Read on to see exactly where this new chicken sandwich spot from celeb chef Guy Fieri is set to open.

In 2018, Guy Fieri and business partner Robert Earl debuted their first Chicken Guy! location in Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, right by Disney World. Now, a fifth location is moving into a former Steak 'n Shake location at 818 S. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park, FL.

Currently, there is no official date when the new location will open. However, as the Orlando Sentinel reports, the closed Steak 'n Shake now features a banner that says the restaurant is "hatching soon."

Other Chicken Guy! locations can be found at Aventura Mall in Miami, FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, and Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

It also has chicken tenders, salad bowls, milkshakes, and several comfort food sides including French fries, fried pickle chips, and mac and cheese. Fieri's chain also features over 20 signature sauces including wasabi honey, sweet Sriracha BBQ, bourbon brown sugar, and cumin lime mojo.

It may have some stiff competition in the area.


According to, Chicken Guy! will have some direct competitors in the particular neighborhood of Winter Park. The new location will be within just a few blocks of a PDQ, Chick-fil-A, and Popeyes, among many other fast-food, dine-in, and fast-casual eateries.

Winter Park isn't the only U.S. city to be getting a new Chicken Guy!

In fact, nine other cities, two of which are in Florida, (Miami and Sunrise) will be getting locations soon, according to the company's website.
