Kate Beckinsale Just Shared Her Abs and Butt Workout in New Video
Kate Beckinsale's commitment to personal fitness has kept her healthy and strong over the course of her decade-spanning career, and the star is letting her fans know just how she maintains her enviable physique.
In a new clip posted to her Instagram account, Beckinsale revealed the exact workout she sticks to in order to keep her abs and butt toned. She does kickboxing-inspired workouts.
On August 1, Beckinsale posted a video of herself in the gym to her Instagram, showing off her impressive stamina with a kickboxing-inspired workout.
In the clip, Beckinsale can be seen repeatedly delivering high kicks to a horizontally-oriented heavy bag as trainer Brad Siskind offers support. "Apparently there's some debate about whether a swan can break your arm but they can def give you a mighty pecking," Beckinsale captioned the clip.

She does tons of ab work.
It's not Beckinsale's high kicks alone that have kept her in such incredible shape, though—she's also committed to a strenuous routine of ab-toning work.
In July, Beckinsale wowed her followers with a video of herself in the gym doing a fast-paced series of lower abdominal crunches and double-leg bicycle crunches atop a dip station. "Back on ye olde bull****," she captioned the intense clip.
She loves rebounding.
During the course of the pandemic when she's been stuck at home, Beckinsale has discovered her love for rebounding.
"I just got into trampolining, and it's the greatest thing…It makes you feel kind of jolly!" she revealed in a 2020 interview with Women's Health.
She stretches to stay limber.
Cardio and weight-based workouts aren't the only way Beckinsale says in amazing shape, however. The actor also relies on regular stretching to stay limber—something that's become quite the hot topic on the internet. After sharing a few videos revealing her amazing flexibility on social media—including ones in which her leg nearly touches her head—fans had more than a few questions about how and why she is so bendy.
"In England, people think I've got a fake leg," she explained during a 2019 interview with Jimmy Fallon. "I've always been like that," she explained of her flexibility. "I did a lot of ballet when I was a kid and now I can cause worry about a fake leg."
