One of the Most Popular Taco Bell Items In History Is Returning to the Menu
Taco Bell sure knows how to keep fans on their toes with one of the most dynamic menus in fast food. The company is at it yet again with some big news—its most successful limited-time item in history is making a splashy comeback to the menus this summer. The viral Nacho Fries, which keep making much-too-short appearances at Taco Bell, will return for the seventh time later this month.
The chain always creates cinematic hoopla when their nacho fries return, and this time will be no different—the release will be accompanied by a faux movie trailer for 'Fry Force', an anime-style ad featuring a girl fighting space monsters to rescue the beloved Nacho Fries on behalf of the world. The item will become available on July 22 with the trailer set to premier a day later.
Nacho Fries don't really need an introduction—they're super crispy fries coated in bold Mexican spices and served with a side of hot nacho cheese dipping sauce. And to mix it up, the chain is introducing the Loaded Taco-style version of the fries for the first time. Nacho Fries will also be available smothered in seasoned beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, spicy ranch sauce, red strips, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes. Talk about a home run!
First launched in 2018, the fries became the most successful limited-time offer on the chain's menu, with more than 53 million orders sold during the initial run. Since then, they've made several seasonal appearances on the menu, the last one taking place late last year. To date, some 350 million portions have been sold.
They'll be available a la carte for $1.39 and in a $5 box featuring Nacho Fries, Beefy 5-layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco and a medium fountain drink.
