Sandra Lee Followed This Exact Diet and Exercise Plan to Lose 25 Pounds in 4 Months
Celebrity chef Sandra Lee has undergone a major weight loss transformation over the past year after gaining 30 pounds during quarantine. Now, Lee says she's just five pounds away from her weight loss goal, and feeling "pretty happy" about her new body.
"Wanted to meet my goal weight before I turned 55 which is tomorrow but I'm pretty happy with where I am-I feel great!!! Healthy thoughtful weight loss goals are not easy but worth it. Sending you all love today and every single day," she captioned a photo of her new look to Instagram.

She cut out alcohol.
While Lee has admitted to enjoying a cocktail now and then, she explained on Instagram that giving up booze was an integral part of her weight loss strategy.
In January, Lee revealed that she had stopped drinking around the winter holidays in 2020. "So far I haven't had a cocktail in 25 days. Holy cow—dry January is a whole thing – especially for me!" she said.

She started with a cleanse.
To kick off her new way of eating, Lee opted to tackle a cleanse after Christmas.
Her plan included eggs, low-glycemic fruits, vegetables, low-sodium broth, coffee, and tea, with the chef describing it as the cleanse having "very few carbs" and "lots of water" involved.
She practiced intermittent fasting.
In May, Lee revealed that she had lost 17 pounds after just two months of dieting.
In addition to changing her diet, Lee credited time-restricted eating with boosting her weight loss.
While she admitted that losing the weight was "not easy," she said that the key to her success was a combination of healthy eating and intermittent fasting.
She worked out more.
Lee made exercise a major priority as part of her commitment to weight loss and better health.
In addition to taking up to 20,000 steps a day, Lee started running on a treadmill on a regular basis, telling her Instagram followers that watching outtakes from Friends helped make her workouts go by faster.
"I just got through 20 minutes on the treadmill keeping my heart rate at 170 and the time flew by thanks to Rachel Ross Phoebe Chandler Joey and Monica," she wrote.
