Nutella Wants to Send You and a Friend to Italy—Here's What You Need to Know

Here's exactly how you can win a five-day trip to the birthplace of Nutella.

Arguably the most important holiday of the year, World Nutella Day—which lands on Feb. 5—is almost here, and you'll probably go nuts when you hear what the company has in mind to celebrate.

Nutella wants to host one lucky fan and a guest of their choice in the birthplace of Nutella—aka Italy. The winner will spend four nights and five days in Milan and will even have the chance to tour the Nutella factory in Piedmont. And don't worry, you won't be completely wandering around the streets of Italia, as the trip will be led by a guide who speaks both English and Italian. The best part? Everything from airfare to hotel accommodations is on Nutella's tab—a pretty sweet deal, right?

If that isn't enough of a way to celebrate the holiday, there's an additional contest you can partake in. Here's the scoop: You'll also be able to enter for a chance to win 20,000 jars of Nutella—although, not all to yourself (hey, rules are rules!). To participate in the Coast-to-Coast sweepstakes, people around the U.S. will have to work together to unlock 20,000 coupons for free Nutella, which will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.

To unlock the free Nutella for you and all of your internet friends, you'll have to share your love for Nutella on either Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #WNDGiveaway and your state (for example, #NewYork). Snap a picture, write a 280-character poem, share your go-to recipe with Nutella; do whatever you need to profess your infatuation with the iconic chocolate-hazelnut spread. Once 50 other Nutella-obsessed people do the same from each of the 50 states, the free jars of Nutella are unlocked and redeemable on NutellaDay.com, where you can also see live updates on the number of posts per state.

Now the only question left to answer is, how do you enter for a chance to be a winner in either contest? Both sweepstakes, for the trip to Italy and the free jars of Nutella, begin on Feb. 5, at 12 a.m. EST and last through Feb. 6, at 6 a.m. EST. Visit NutellaDay.com to fill out the entry form for the trip to Italy, and stay glued to the page to redeem your free jar of Nutella as soon as they become unlocked.

The word is sure to spread quickly, and while 20,000 jars of Nutella sounds like a lot, we all know they won't be available for very long.
