Tracy Anderson has already rocked the fitness world with her famous cardio classes and fitness DVDs that have helped thousands of people lose weight and get fit. Now, after years of research and development, the 41-year-old fitness guru (girlfriend doesn’t look a day past 25 amiright?!) is vying to take the health food industry by storm with her new organic snack bars and protein powders. Simply named Clear, the line of healthy treats is available exclusively at select Target stores nationwide and online. Here’s everything you need to know before stocking up.
Anderson’s protein bars, made with pea protein, nut butter, and whole food ingredients, come in three different flavors: vanilla toffee crunch, chocolate mint, and chocolate—and retail for $6.99 for a box of five. Each bar contains a generous 14 to 15 grams of protein, 11 to 13 grams of fiber, and only 5 to 6 grams of sugar. We're giving these our stamp of approval!
THE PROTEIN POWDER
The vegan, dairy-free protein powders are available in dutch chocolate (which contains collagen to fight skin aging) and french vanilla, formulated with B vitamins for energy. The 15.3-ounce tubs retail for $29.99. Each serving comes in at the 100-calorie mark and packs 15 grams of protein and 6 grams of satiating fiber per serving. What’s even more impressive is the low sugar content. Each serving carries just 5 grams of the sweet stuff. Not sure what to mix the powder with?
