UNO Is Adding 3 New Pizzas Under 600 Calories to Its Menu

But they're only available for a limited time!

Just about everyone loves pizza, and while Uno Pizzeria & Grill is famous for its Deep Dish Chicago pizzas and over-the-top toppings, it's no secret some pies can really pack in the calories.

However,  if you're seeking healthier pizza options, the restaurant announced that it will be serving up three new pizzas, each with fewer than 600 calories. The catch? Two of them will only be available for a limited time, so you'll have to act fast to enjoy it!

According to a press release, the lower-calorie pizza will come in three flavors, with each being available at different times. The one similarity between the three is that each pizza is 590 calories. Yes, the whole flatbread pizza has fewer calories than a single slice of a deep-dish pie!

The three tasty additions include:

Apricot & Goat Cheese De-Lite: This pizza consists of crumbled goat cheese that sits atop a base of apricot preserves and toasted almond slices. The pizza is then layered with fresh arugula and drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze.

Available: Jan. 1 to 31

Vegetarian Cheeseburger Pizza: This pizza will feature plant-based meat from Beyond Burger, cheddar, mozzarella, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions. This is not a limited-time item, so it will be a new menu item for the restaurant. If you haven't tried plant-based meat yet, this could be the time to try!

Available: Jan. 14

Pesto & Fresh Mozz De-Lite: This pizza will debut in February. Fresh mozzarella coats a pizza that's covered with a garlicky basil pesto sauce. A light drizzle of balsamic glaze garnishes the top.

Available: Feb. 1 to 28

These pizzas will be added to the "Love All, Feed All" menu section, which caters to those with specific dietary needs and preferences (like vegan and gluten-free). This section is already stacked with 600-calories-or-less pizzas with flavors like Margherita, wild mushroom & aged cheddar, spinach goat cheese & caramelized onions, and roasted eggplant.

For perspective, a slice of Uno's Chicago Meat Market deep-dish pizza clocks in at 570 calories. So what will it be: a slice or a whole pizza? For those who are looking to shed a few pounds in the new year, these new additions are much lighter options than the deep dish style Uno is known for.

"Whether you come to UNO for the deep dish pizza that made us famous or for a new 600-calories-or-less pizza while sticking to your New Year's resolutions, you can be sure you'll have enough delicious options to satisfy the whole family," said Jim Ilaria, CEO of UNO Pizzeria & Grill in a press release.
