Whole Foods Wants to Treat You to an Italian Feast This Month

Cheese, wine, pasta—you'll get it all (and more) for absolutely no cost at all.

With Dry January behind us, February is the perfect time to indulge in some delicious Italian dishes and wines—and imagine being able to do that without even having to spend a dollar. Dream no more, because Whole Foods Market wants to treat you to an authentic Italian feast this month with its Little Italy pop-up dinner event.

On Feb. 20, Whole Foods will be creating an authentic Italian trattoria-style dinner in four lucky cities, co-hosted by the grocer's cheese, wine, and culinary experts alongside Italian cheesemakers, and prosciutto suppliers.

The complimentary dinner includes six courses, including Cacio e Pepe featuring Pecorino Romano with Parmigiano Reggiano grated tableside and Osso Buco served over creamy rosemary polenta. Each course comes with its own expert-paired wines including prosecco, and—with dessert—espresso. During the antipasti course, there will also be on-site prosciutto sampling and pairing.

In addition to the dinner, guests will be treated to an 80-pound Parmigiano Reggiano wheel-cracking demonstration by a certified cheese professional, and if you're not completely stuffed after that Italian feast, you can sample cheese fresh from the wheel.

So, where do we sign up? Starting Feb. 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET, you can reserve your seat for Whole Foods Market's Italian experience. It's first-come, first-serve and it's completely free. The dinner will be held at a special location in each respective city, the addresses of which will be disclosed in the confirmation email. Here are the participating locations.

Can't make it for the full dinner? You can visit select Whole Foods Market stores on Feb. 22 to watch a hand-selected wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano be cracked open live. Deemed the "King of Cheese," you're not going to want to miss out on sampling one of Italy's most respected cheeses.

Customers can also take the taste of Italy home with in-store deals that kick off on Feb. 12. See all the delicious deals below.
