“‘Due to an industry-wide supply issue, there is currently a shortage of some whipped toppings, including Reddi-wip,’ Lanie Friedman, a representative for Conagra Foods, the makers of the popular Reddi-wip whipped cream, said to The Washington Post in a statement early Thursday. A tragic accident in August triggered the whipped cream shortage. Two gas tankers, as well as a nitrous oxide holding tank, exploded at a loading dock in an Airgas chemical plant in Florida.” Read full story.
