After creating her own food column during her junior year of college, Emily became a line cook to get kitchen experience on a professional level. She went on to cook at a two-Michelin star restaurant in NYC. Two memorable guests she cooked for were Reese Witherspoon and Steve Martin. Her goal was to get her foot in the door in food media, and she did just that. Emily landed a job at Food.com and Food Network, where she created both seasonal and evergreen content, promoted their new application, and much more. As a lover of learning with a strive to grow within the field, she then became a digital editor for a 3-month video compilation project for Meredith, where she worked with several brands under their umbrella such as Food & Wine and Martha Stewart. She is currently a food editor for Woman's World, First for Women, and Celebrate magazines and a freelance food writer with a passion to express her personality and joy through all things cooking, culinary, trending, and news.
