In fact, the drink is such a superstar that it's been enjoyed for ages by various cultures. And in case you were curious, it isn't called golden milk because it's such a gold medal-deserving drink; it gets its name from its golden hue. 2 cups of organic dairy milk or coconut milk
1 teaspoon dried turmeric
1 teaspoon dried ginger

  1. Heat milk in a small saucepan
  2. Add spices and mix
  3. Bring to a slow simmer; turn off heat, cover and let sit for about 10 minutes
