Popeyes has officially announced the return of a popular deal beloved by fans, as well as the launch of a new interesting dessert item to satisfy any sweet tooth. For anyone looking into changing it up from the famous crispy chicken sandwich, this one might just be for you.

As of March 22, the seasonal Shrimp Tackle Box is back on Popeyes' menu at participating locations nationwide. It includes eight pieces of fried butterfly shrimp, one side, and a biscuit, all of which you can get for just $5 when you order for pickup using the Popeyes App or on Popeyes.com (prices may vary). As always, the deal will only be available for a limited time.

The shrimp Big Box deal is a great option for the Lenten season. One that perfectly goes alongside another recent Lent-inspired launch from Popeyes—the new spicy fish sandwich. This delicious fish sandwich includes a fried flounder filet that is coated in cajun seasoning, served with barrel-cured pickles and tartar sauce in a brioche bun. Both of these fish options are fast and easy to grab as an excellent choice for any meatless Friday during the month of Lent.

As for the chain's dessert section, there may just be an up-and-coming shining star. Popeyes recently introduced their sweet new Wildberry Beignets, which come in a 3-piece, 6-piece, and 12-piece servings. The light and fluffy pastries are filled with a mixed berry filling and topped with a load of powdered sugar. These beloved New Orleans classic donuts are a must-try at the suggested price of $1.99 (3pc), $3.99 (6pc), and $7.49 (12pc).
