When it comes to McDonald's treats, you can always count on the Oreo McFlurry (unless, that is, if the machine is out of order or being cleaned). But not every McDonald's dessert has earned as much recognition as the iconic soft-serve.

These were technically a part of the McDonald's breakfast menu, but they were sweet enough to be a dessert, too. They were like eating the best part of the cinnamon roll, the center, without any of the tough exterior. RIP.
Fruit 'N Yogurt Parfait
This was another McDonald's breakfast item that was sweet enough to be a dessert in its own right. The yogurt parfait was one of the COVID-19 casualties at McDonald's as the chain simplified its menu.
Fried Apple Pie
Back in 2018, McDonald's made its apple pie recipe healthier. But no one heads to McDonald's because they're looking for healthy food.
Fruit and Walnut Salad
If your meal included a Big Mac and Fries, fresh fruit slices and candied walnuts might sound like a good way to end your meal. The fruit and walnut salad isn't at McDonald's anymore, but you can still get apple slices.
In 2019, McDonald's offered a Snickerdoodle McFlurry for a limited time, in addition to the classic Oreo and M&Ms flavors. We wouldn't mind seeing this cookie-flavored treat become a permanent menu fixture at the Golden Arches.
The Stroopwafel McFlurry was part of McDonald's "Worldwide Favorites" menu in summer 2019. The Netherlands-inspired treat was available in U.S. stores for a limited time only, along with other international McD's delights like the Tomato-Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich from Canada.
For years, McDonald's has offered budget-friendly alternatives to Starbucks' holiday drinks. But in 2019, McDonald's ditched the peppermint mocha in favor of the cinnamon cookie latte. We'd love to see both options on this year's menu!
