IHOP’s Pumpkin Pancakes Are Here—But Only for a Limited Time
With fall in full swing, you can count on IHOP to ring in the season with a fresh batch of pumpkin spice pancakes. I mean, what else would we pair our daily PSLs and pumpkin spice everything with? The flapjacks are made with real pumpkin and a blend of warm spices before getting topped off with a decorative whipped topping. The seasonal stack retails for $4.99 and clocks in at 600 calories per four-count—and that’s before you drizzle on the syrup.
Not so into the whole pumpkin spice craze? IHOP also offers the Cinn-A-Stack Pancakes, which features four buttermilk pancakes stuffed with a creamy cinnamon roll filling, then topped with cream cheese icing and a whipped topping. This cinnamon-packed breakfast will cost you a beltline-busting 860 calories, 28 grams of fat (10 grams of saturated fat, a half gram of trans fat), 1,970 milligrams of sodium, 136 grams of carbs (6 grams of fiber, 70 grams of sugar), and 16 grams of protein. Choose this dish, and you’ll consume two salted soft pretzels’ worth of sodium and 3-and-a-half Snickers bars’ worth of sugar!Courtesy of IHOP
If you’re indecisive about which fall flavor you want to dive into, the pancake house also serves up the Pumpkin Cinn-A-Stack Pancakes—a glorious combo of the two above, featuring four pumpkin-infused flapjacks layered with cinnamon roll filling and topped with both cream cheese icing and whipped topping. Talk about a true indulgence—this stack boasts a whopping 950 calories!Courtesy of IHOP
“Every year, our guests eagerly await the return of our seasonal pancakes: Pumpkin Spice, Cinn-A-Stack, and a new combination of the two this year, Pumpkin Cinn-A-Stacks, which tastes just like a pumpkin pie and a cinnamon roll married and had a food baby,” Brad Haley, Chief Marketing Officer of IHOP, said in a press release.
If you’re craving a sweet cheat meal, you’ve got until October 28th to visit your local IHOP and order these fall-tastic treats. Not too keen on hitting pause on your healthy eating plan? The breakfast chain offers up a side portion of these pancakes that features just two pancakes (instead of the four), which cuts the caloric damage in half. We’re all for embracing the taste of fall!
