National Margarita Day 2020: We've Rounded Up the Best Deals

Nothing sour about these sweet margarita steals.

Once a year, on February 22, the nation unites to celebrate the simple-yet-perfect combination of tequila, liqueur, and lime. On a holiday made to honor one of the most iconic beverages of our time, it would be sacrilegious not to pull up a barstool and slurp down a marg. To ensure that you can participate without breaking the bank, we've concocted a list of the best National Margarita Day deals. Since this year's boozy holiday falls on a Saturday, there's no reason not to shake up your weekend and celebrate with some salt on the rim.

No matter how you take this holiday—frozen or on the rocks, salt or sugar, spicy or sweet—it's totally possible to celebrate on any budget. And, if you're feeling really ambitious and choose to shake up your own concoction on Saturday night, we have a favorite low-cal recipe that's got "National Margarita Day House-Party" written all over it.

Chili's

Chili's may qualify as a fast-casual restaurant, but there is nothing casual about their $5 margarita-day deal. On February 22 only, the national chain will be serving Presidente Margaritas and Hearts on Fire Margaritas for just $5 each.

On the Border

The Tex-Mex grill and cantina got a head start on National Marg Day: they've been serving Grande 'Rita's for $5 all month, and will continue to do so through Saturday. However, for patrons who plan to visit on February 22, the chain is stepping it up even more. House margaritas will be going for just $2, and well liquor meltdowns will be 99 cents.
