Select Burger King Locations Are Now Serving This Beloved Item Again
Burger King may not be known for its sides, but there is one particular item that customers simply adore pairing with the chain's sandwiches. We'll give you a hint: it's made of potatoes but isn't a fry—and it's nice and cheesy.
We're, of course, talking about BK's Cheesy Tots, a limited-time treat that makes rare annual appearances. And every time it does, fans are delighted.
According to The Fast Food Post, those fans can get excited again, because Burger King is now selling the beloved tots at select locations in Arizona, Colorado, New York, and Florida. They are available in 8-piece orders for a suggested price of $4.98.
The tots were last seen in 2021, when they returned to the menu after a two-year hiatus. In fact, they've always had a spotty presence.
When they were taken off the menu a decade ago, Burger King was getting an earful about the loss from fans. According to People, there's even a Facebook group called "Bring Back the Cheesy Tots From Burger King," which petitioned for their return and has since turned to updating its members about the availability of the limited-time offer.
While not quite as caloric as the chain's fries, the Cheesy Tots are right up there with some of the more unhealthy sides you can opt for with your Whopper. They pack 316 calories, 15 grams of fat, and almost 800 milligrams of sodium. So enjoy responsibly!
