Chick-fil-A Reveals How You Can Get Free Nuggets This Month

Free chicken nuggets for all...with the app.

January is all about focusing on the new year, making meaningful lifestyle changes, and… free chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A?

It's true. The chicken chain is offering a ridiculously good deal this month: an eight-piece order of chicken nuggets, totally free. The key to unlocking the free meal is simple. All you need to do is sign into (or create an account on) the Chick-fil-A One app. It's that easy—all you have to do is open the app, sign in, and you'll see the option to score a free order of nuggets. From there, click the "redeem reward" button, and you'll be presented with the option to add them to your mobile order or to scan the app at a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Patrons have until January 31 to claim their free box of chicken nuggets, which can be redeemed either through the drive-thru, in the restaurant, or even via the app. Not to mention, once you download the app you'll garner points for every purchase you make, which will go toward a rewards program.

How much you spend at Chick-fil-A annually dictates where you fall in the hierarchy of the restaurant's membership program. By default, you begin at the rank of Member. Then, if you earn up to 1,000 points in a year, you get upgraded to Silver Member. And finally, if you earn 5,000 points, you get bumped up to Red Member status. Essentially, the more you spend the more rewards (freebies) you unlock.

That's not all Chick-fil-A has in store for its customers this month. Starting today, the quick-service restaurant is also debuting a brand new menu item: the Kale Crunch Side. Rather than the standard side salad of iceberg lettuce, you can nosh on a crispy bend of kale and cabbage that's been dressed in an apple cider and Dijon mustard vinaigrette. The little bowl of leafy greens is then topped with salted almonds and is just 120 calories.

If you live in Florida, Iowa, or Texas, you may have had a preview to this healthy side back in the spring of 2019 when the product was in the testing phase. The salad clearly struck mass appeal, because it now joins Chick-fil-A's small but mighty lineup of sides: waffle potato fries, Greek yogurt, mac and cheese, and a fruit cup.

So, who's ready to hit the fast-food joint for a complimentary order of nuggets and all-new kale salad on the side?
