HelloFresh reimagines tonight's dinner for tomorrow's lunch with its new Dinner 2 Lunch option.

If you love eating leftovers, you’re in luck! Thanks to HelloFresh’s new meal option called Dinner 2 Lunch, you’ll feast on tonight’s dinner with fresh eyes and taste buds in tomorrow’s lunch. This new meal option takes convenience to the next level by equipping you with everything you need to get a tasty dinner on the table tonight, plus some extra ingredients to transform your leftovers into tomorrow’s lunch.

Wondering what’s on the menu? The first option is a protein-packed chorizo and beef chili dinner. The Mexican-inspired meal features all the traditional fixings including cheddar, sour cream, scallions, and jalapeños. To turn the hearty chili into an equally delicious and filling lunch the next day, the kit includes a flour tortilla that you can use to wrap leftovers into a fully loaded burrito!

Major bonus: You don’t have to worry about biting into lackluster leftovers the next day. HelloFresh provides additional ingredients to keep things fresh and spice up the following day’s lunch. Other simple and scrumptious cook-once-and-eat-twice combos include a balsamic chicken dinner with a chicken pesto pasta for lunch; a sausage pasta dinner and a shallot zucchini risotto for lunch; and a pork and corn salsa dinner and a cheesy burrito a la leftovers. Running out of excuses to meal prep your lunches yet? We thought so.

If you’re monitoring your macros, make sure to keep an eye out for the repurposed lunches’ calorie counts, as they tend to run higher than the dinners. For example, the sausage pizza dinner clocks in at 820 calories, 47 grams of fat, and 1,690 milligrams of sodium while the corresponding tomato pasta lunch boasts a whopping 1030 calories, 63 grams of fat, and 1,380 milligrams of sodium.

So while we’re all for meal prep efficiency, be sure to keep an eye out for the Dinner 2 Lunch recipes’ nutritional panels. If you don’t spot a meal that fits your healthy eating plan, try your hand at prepping these foods on Sunday to cut calories all week.
