Costco Is Offering This Perk If You Sign Up For A Membership Now

A Costco Gold Star Executive membership has a ton of perks. Between the 2% annual reward up to $1,000 on Costco purchases to the travel deals it offers, there are plenty of ways you can save money with this membership. Now, this spring, the warehouse chain is giving away a special perk to those who sign up.

As part of a new promotion, new Gold Star Members will receive a $10 Costco Shop Card, while new Gold Star Executive Members will receive a $20 Costco Shop Card. The annual Gold Star membership costs $60, while the Executive costs $120 to enroll. In order to participate in this new special Shop Card promotion, you have to be a new and non-existing Costco member.

As any existing member will tell you, the membership can be well worth the yearly fees. From its bulk grocery items to the ever-popular member food court, there are dozens of reasons why this warehouse chain has a cult following.

Typically, the warehouse chain ups its membership rates every 5.5 years, according to analysts. The price of both memberships hasn't changed since June 2017, which is now nearly five years since members have seen a price increase.

So, If you've been thinking about getting a Costco membership, now may be just the right time to get in on this offer before prices rise again.
