Rebel Wilson Poses in New Swimsuit Photo After 60-Pound Weight Loss
After a year spent overhauling her diet and exercise habits, Rebel Wilson is looking fitter than ever and she's not shy about sharing the results of her hard work with the world.
In a new series of photos posted to Instagram, the actor poses in a plunging black swimsuit and hat during a trip to Palm Beach, Florida.
"Palm Beach-ing 🏝 I think I wanna move to Florida now," she captioned the photo.
Wilson, who has lost a total of 60 pounds over the past year, may have made her transformation look easy, but she's admitted to putting more than her fair share of work in to achieve results.
In a May 2021 interview with InStyle, the actor revealed the exact steps she took to slim down during her "year of health."
"I have access to some amazing high-tech treatments, but what I learned is it's really the little things that I do every day that make a difference. Like today, I went for a walk at Griffith Park [in L.A.] and that's free. Anyone can go on walks and drink more water and do little, consistent things that'll improve their lives," she told the publication.
While filming the upcoming movie The Almond and the Seahorse, Wilson revealed that her dedication to fitness had impressed her fellow actors. "[My co-stars] were amazed at my discipline because every morning I was up in the gym at the hotel working out for 90 minutes before a full day of filming," she explained.
It wasn't exercise alone that helped Wilson shed the pounds, however; she also revealed that changing her eating habits had been a major factor in helping her shed the weight.
"When I did my Year of Health, I was obviously more focused on my physical and mental health because I had suffered from emotional eating for many years," she revealed.
However, in overhauling her eating habits, she managed to find a new vice. "I'm trying to be healthier and treat myself with things that are not food anymore. Although I think I may have slightly transferred addictions to online shopping," she told InStyle.
