Taco Bell has been on a roll, launching menu additions to plenty of fanfare. The fast-food giant had fans celebrating the recent comeback of the Mexican pizza, which it will honor with a TikTok musical starring Doja Cat and Dolly Parton on May 26 (yes, really).

For the 1,000 fans that signed the Change.org petition to bring back the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa, the day has finally come. Taco Bell has brought the popular item back, if only for a short time.

For those who didn't get to try the cheesy twist on the traditional chalupa, the Toasted Cheddar version features 6-month aged cheddar crisped up on the outside of the chalupa shell which is then loaded with seasoned beef, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, and more cheddar. The beef can be swapped out for chicken, steak, or black beans for a vegetarian version.

The Toasted Cheddar Chalupa can be ordered a la carte or as part of a Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Box (and its Deluxe version). The standard Box comes with a medium fountain drink, Toasted Cheddar Chalupa, Crunchy Taco, and Cinnamon Twists for $5.49, while the Deluxe Box features a medium fountain drink, Toasted Cheddar Chalupa with chicken, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, and a Crunchy Taco for $7.49.
