This New Texas Roadhouse Product Sold Out in Minutes—Here's How to Get It
Last week word broke that one of Texas Roadhouses' favorite items was now available to bring home, but not as you'd expect. Last week the super popular steakhouse chain launched its online store selling merch. The store carries the expected t-shirts, hats, and tumblers, but also a very special product that pays homage to one of its signature restaurant items: Texas Roadhouse Honey Cinnamon Butter Candles.
"What better way to launch our retail efforts than a Honey Cinnamon Butter Candle, so guests can enjoy a little Texas Roadhouse at their own house," CEO Jerry Morgan said in a statement.
If you haven't been, unlike a typical restaurant where they bring you bread and butter after seating you, Texas Roadhouse seats you with their hot rolls and their signature sweet butter. How popular is this butter? The candles sold out in less than a day because when we went to purchase them there was a message that they were sold out.
But don't worry, Texas Roadhouse has already added more inventory and there is a three-candle limit so now's your chance to pre-order the beloved scent. Plus, these aren't your pretty little tea lights, in true Texas Roadhouse fashion these are beefy candles. They are $12 with double wicks and will burn about 50 hours.
But don't stop at candles, set the mood for a Texas Roadhouse night at home with these other items at the store, and be sure to read my account of my first Texas Roadhouse experience.
This part of the online store was launched last year. Pick up filets, ribeyes, sirloins, and more in all sizes. One of our writers did just that, read about her experience.
Of course, the online merch store has t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats emblazoned with fun Texas Roadhouse images and themes. There are also onesies for your littlest carnivores with an image of the rolls and the phrase "Made from Scratch" in pink and blue. Do we smell a great way to tell others that you're expecting?
This could be an homage to the peanuts that used to be a signature of the restaurant. Customers would throw the shells on the floor but this was phased out during the pandemic in many locations. P.S. you can also pick up peanut socks.
The store also carries tumblers, pint glasses, bottle openers, bumper stickers, and other kitschy gifts for the Texas Roadhouse-lover in your life.
