White Mulled Wine Cocktail Recipe

With the right combination of citrus juices, peels, and spices, you can turn that bottle of white wine into something extra special this winter season. Plus, between the fresh juice and the small amount of sugar, this cocktail won't pack in as many calories as the sugary cocktail mixes you usually find at the store. Instead, sip on this white mulled wine for a classy end to your day. Makes 8-10 servings

Ingredients

2 Bottles Lillet Blanc
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Citrus peels from oranges and lemons (8-10 each)
1/4 cup sugar
4 cinnamon sticks (more for garnish)
10 cardamom pods (lightly cracked open)
1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
Add 1 oz Martell Cognac in each glass before serving

How to Make It

  1. Combine Lillet, spices, and juices in a pot over medium heat. Cook until warmed through, strain out solids.
  2. Pour into mugs and top with 1oz Cognac, orange wedge, and a cinnamon stick.
