Rebel Wilson Says These Four Things Helped Her Shed 75 Pounds

The star has completely transformed her body over the course of the past year.

Rebel Wilson has shed an incredible amount of weight over the past year, completely transforming her body along the way. While it had been previously reported that Wilson had lost a total of 60 pounds, in a July 26 Instagram Live Q&A (via Hello!), Wilson revealed that she's now lost "like 70 pounds, 75 pounds, maybe a bit more."

What's more, Wilson said that her weight loss this time felt significantly different than her previous attempts to slim down. "So far, [I] have not gained any of it back, which is pretty cool, because never in my life have I been able to do that," she explained.

While the star has been open about her slow and steady mentality when it comes to slimming down, she recently admitted that there are four basic changes that factored into transforming her body.

"Adequate sleep, walking, hydrating, [and] drinking water," were all key to her major transformation, Wilson admitted. "You'll always see me with a FIJI [water] in my hand, and balance it with the nutrition," she said.

In a recent interview, Wilson revealed that she had also made a vested effort to swap some of her less healthy eating habits with other ways of rewarding herself.

"I just bought a Yves Saint Laurent handbag after finishing The Almond and the Seahorse because I'm trying to be healthier and treat myself with things that are not food anymore," she told InStyle.

While Wilson may be looking and feeling better than ever these days, she's admitted to having a few regrets about her transformation—namely, that she didn't attempt it sooner.

"Now that I know I can do it, sometimes I feel sad that I didn't do it earlier. Maybe I should have tried when I was 30, not 40," she told the publication.

"What I learned is it's really the little things that I do every day that make a difference…Anyone can go on walks and drink more water and do little, consistent things that'll improve their lives. It's not too late to start, no matter what age you are."
