Mikkelsen says, "It was the first time I met him, and he's an insanely powerful person. Not just as an actor, but physically. Ford is also an advocate for a clean and healthy environment. As the Vice Chair of Conservation International's Board of Directors, the actor has shared the importance of making science and nature a top priority (via TIME). Speaking in one of the nonprofit's videos titled, "The Most Critical Action," Ford says, "The necessary foundation of our lives is a vital healthy natural world—our source of clean water, food, and a stable climate. We're watching that foundation crumble. Irresponsible human activity is limiting the ability of the natural world to provide what we need to survive."
