One of our favorite stars has brought us so many movies to love, including Miracles from Heaven, The Adam Project, Catch & Release, Love, Simon, Valentine's Day, and so many more. Let's not forget her role as Sydney Bristow, CIA officer in Alias. There's also our gal Jenna Rink, Garner's character in 13 Going On 30. Now that's one of those movies you can curl up on the couch watching over and over again, are we right? That totally unforgettable role/movie clearly left a lasting impression on teen idol Donny Osmond, too.

Garner recently posted a video on Instagram showing Osmond surprising Jennifer Garner in person with a birthday cake, appropriately iced with the caption, "13 going on 50! Love Donny!" Part of her caption reads, "My first (pre)birthday surprise was a doozy—the one and only, legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion—@donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off. He took an hour and a half of his day to sit with me, sing my favorites, and to give me a master class on how to be a class act. Thank you, Donny."

So much love was shared by Garner's 12.6 million followers on IG, as the video received over 5M views and more than 931k likes, including love from Jennifer Aniston and Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. There were even comments from Gwenyth Paltrow, saying, "This is unreal," and Diane Keaton, who wrote five laughing/crying emojis and a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY."

"13 going on 50" should always look so great

How does Jennifer Garner actually make "13 going on 50" look so darn amazing in real life? Well, first and foremost, she takes great care of herself with a strong workout ethic. Her trainer, Beth Nicely, founder of a virtual fitness program called The Limit, recently described Garner to Shape by saying, "I consider her a professional athlete in what she's capable of physically."

Nicely added that Garner works out hard to stay healthy and in shape. She performs strength training, cardio, plyometrics, and more in her fitness routine, also adding to Shape that the star "likes to work really hard, she's very, very strong," and she's a solid dancer. "We both love to dance, we both love to work hard, I think it's a good combination," Nicely says.

Her intense workout circuit includes a mini trampoline

The trainer/celeb duo enjoys a workout challenge that Nicely designed, called "The Circuit." It includes 5 sets of 40 jump rope jumps, 8 box jumps, and 16 mini trampoline leaps with a 10-pound medicine ball in hand. This is all done within several minutes. Nicely adds, "My goal with everyone is to get through five rounds in under three minutes," adding that Garner has aced this timing "multiple times." She also tells Shape, "Jen's dance background might make the moves look easy, but these circuits are advanced and she is very strong."

Garner's all about living healthy and balanced, and she loves smoothies

Looking fab doesn't stop at working out. Garner eats healthy and has worked with Kelly LeVeque, holistic nutritionist, wellness expert, and celebrity health coach. LeVeque is also the creator of "Be Well by Kelly Diet." Garner became familiar with LeVeque's diet while working on the movie Peppermint, and simply continued (via Delish). According to her website, LeVeque believes in not dieting but rather living a healthy and balanced life.

Hey, when something works, stick with it, right? Garner is also a fan of a smoothie recipe, which she shared on her Instagram. She captioned the video, "I started with [LeVeque] a few months ago to get ready for #PEPPERMINTmovie and have had her smoothie every day for breakfast since."

She has such a positive attitude and heart of gold

What are more of Garner's secrets? Well, she has a great attitude. As seen on the celeb's IG, she embraces her faith, friends, family, her pets, and her community. Back in March, Garner posted a video on spreading love. She prepared Ziplock bags and included in each some cash, socks, hand wipes, toothbrushes, chapstick, Kleenex, and granola bars. She suggests in the post, "Random act of kindness: gather these essentials in a quart sized ziploc bag and keep them in your car to give away when you see someone in need." She lists the items and adds, "I forgot this time, but like to add feminine hygiene products, too. Add $5, $10, $20 and a smile." Garner credits her friend Whitney Williams for inspiring her to do this amazing act of kindness.

Back in January, Garner made some goodies and delivered treats to first responders, too. She encouraged others to do the same. Her caption started with, "For a happy day—show your local First Responders some love. They are still in the thick of it and miles past burn out. Thank you @countyem_la Doctors and Nurses! Keep going!"
