These Are the Top 5 Summer Craft Beers, New Data Says

If you've got a taste for fresh flavors, a craft beer app has tallied customers' most popular summer picks.

A lot of craft beer lovers love a good suggestion for a new one to try almost as much as they appreciate the act of sipping a brew itself. An app that sells beer from over 600 independent breweries has tallied its users' reviews to reveal what are currently the top craft beers in the country, according to the app's customers.

The app, Tavour, says it gives you access to "discover the highest-rated craft beers from all over the world" so you can "get craft beer delivered right to your door." According to New School Beer, Tavour recently announced the list of craft beers that earned the highest scores based on Tavour users' ratings and reviews. These beverages deliver on flavor in a wide range of styles. A perfect score would have been a 5… and these all come darn close.

Check out the list of the top five summer craft beers according to Tavour customers, and check out The 10 Best American Cities for Beer, According to New Data.

Anchorage Brewing Company's Bite Imperial Triple IPA

Bite is right! Alaska-based Anchorage Brewing Company's Bite Imperial Triple IPA is 9.5 percent alcohol by volume (ABV). New School reports this hoppy beast is brewed to deliver flavors of "an orange mango smoothie tinged by just a hint of dank cannabis." Tavour users gave it a 4.35 out of 5.

The Brewing Projekt's Draguavapple Puff Tart Fruited Sour

If you think the name is a mouthful, wait until you hear about the notes. This Wisconsin brewery went tropical with its beer composed of dragonfruit, guava, and pineapple, along with "creamy doses of milk sugar and vanilla," according to New School. Users of the Tavour app were sweet on this sour, giving it a 4.69 score.
