Two of the most beloved comfort foods on White Castle's menu are back in time for the official beginning of winter—and one comes with a brand-new twist. It may be getting cold outside, but diners don't have to worry about layering with a boring old coat and a scarf if they can warm up with Mac & Cheese Nibblers or a Sloppy Joe Slider.

The Mac & Cheese Nibblers are crunchy on the outside, thanks to a cheddar batter, but warm and melty on the inside. The Sloppy Joe Slider delivers everything you love about the iconic sandwich in a miniature size. For only 99 cents, you can enjoy the coveted blend of beef, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and tangy sauce.

New this year is a reimagined version of the Sloppy Joe. Aptly called the Smoky Joe Slider, it features all of the flavor of the regular slider, plus smoked cheddar cheese and crispy onion crisps. You can find the beloved spins on classic comfort foods on the menu until Feb. 14, White Castle says. (Related: The 7 Healthiest Foods to Eat Right Now.)

"What we've all been aching for is a warm hug, even if it's emotional and not physical," Jamie Richardson, the chain's vice president, adds. "At the Castle, we've got you covered. With special offers of hot and tasty food like the new Smoky Joe Slider, our Cravers have a lot to look forward to!"

We all crave comfort food from time to time, but it's best to remember that moderation is key. The two slider options are both under 220 calories each, while the small Mac & Cheese Nibblers clocks in at 330 calories. (A medium is a whopping 800 calories).
