This Is Not a Drill: You Could Win Free Donuts for a Year From Dunkin'
If you're a loyal Dunkin' Donuts fan, you'll have the chance this month to be rewarded in the most epic way possible: Winning free donuts for an entire year.
The contest, which will be open to everyone and spearheaded on Instagram by Gabi Butler from Netflix's "Cheer" docuseries, kicks off on Wednesday, March 4. Then, Butler will start an exclusive Dunkin' cheer challenge, inviting Instagram users to post their own video or Instagram story of their very best T-G-I-F-D-F cheer in order to win free Dunkin' donuts for a year. TGIFDF, by the way, stands for Thank Goodness It's Free Donut Friday.
Pause. Free donut Friday?
That's right, those who are devoted members of Dunkin's DD Perks Rewards Program are also being recognized with a free donut every Friday this month with the purchase of a beverage. Members will be able to pick and choose from some of Dunkin's most beloved donuts—from icing-laden options like Boston Kreme and Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles to more simple options like glazed. Oh, and if you're feeling extra lucky, you can opt for the festive Lucky Shamrock Donut (you might as well take advantage of that limited-edition donut while you can, right?).
The Free Donut Friday promotion starts this Friday, March 6, and lasts until March 26. But, back to the free Dunkin' Donuts for a year promo. Before you've made your post or IG story of your original cheer live, make sure to tag @Dunkin and include #FDFSweepstakes. Several winners will be selected randomly each Free Donut Friday.
"We're so excited to offer Free Donut Fridays to give all of our DD Perks members—new and existing—an extra special sweet treat as they head into spring," Stephanie Meltzer-Paul, Dunkin' U.S. VP of Digital and Loyalty Marketing, said in a statement. "We're always looking for new ways to show our appreciation to Dunkin' fans and our DD Perks Rewards Program allows us to celebrate them with fun and exclusive offers throughout the year."
Just remember though, moderation is key when it comes to donuts—it's incredibly easy to overdo it on the sugary, doughy treats. So, if you win free donuts for a year, we just hope you'll be willing to share. (Not a donut fan? Then you can check out other Dunkin' Donuts items that are vegan—and still taste good.)
