Dolly Parton is known for her Grammy-award-winning music, iconic performances, and philanthropic legacy. But what you may not know about this living legend is that she's always loved to bake.

Now, the country music superstar is bringing her kitchen to yours, with the help of Duncan Hines. That's right, a line of cake mixes and frostings inspired by Parton's favorite family recipes—coconut cake and banana puddin' cake—is slated to hit stores soon.

"I have always loved to cook, and growing up in the South, I especially love that authentic mom and pop kind of cooking," Parton said in a statement. "I am excited to launch my own line of cake mixes and frostings with Duncan Hines, bringing that sweet, Southern-style baking experience I enjoy to others."

To kick off the partnership, Duncan Hines dropped limited-edition Dolly Parton Baking Collection kits online, which included Southern-style banana- and coconut-flavored cake mixes, two types of buttercream frosting, recipe cards, a tea towel, and a spatula. Priced at $40, the kits sold out within minutes, but customers can sign up online to receive an email when more become available.

The cake mixes and frostings, which have suggested retail prices just north of $2, are set to land on grocery store shelves in March, according to Duncan Hines.

"We are excited to see this partnership, facilitated by Dolly's licensing agency, IMG, evolve for years to come," Audrey Ingersoll, Duncan Hines' brand director, added.

This isn't Parton's first venture in the food industry. Last spring, the singer unveiled her own limited-edition ice cream flavor—Strawberry Pretzel Pie—in partnership with Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. All proceeds from the sales of the highly-anticipated flavor went towards Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five.
