Well to start, Wilson went into 2020 with a fresh fitness plan that emphasized cardio. And as for 2022, this year is all about "Rebel Rising." Wilson previously expressed in an IGTV video, "I know I'm in a lucky position, I do have access to really amazing personal trainers. But I want you guys to know that the majority of exercise I've done this year has just been me going out for a walk" (via Prevention). Wherever she happened to be in the world, the star didn't skip out on her cardio. "That is free, you can do it, it's safe," she said, adding, "Walking is the best way for me—for my body type—to metabolize fat. On the physical side, my biggest tip, guys, is get out there and walk. If you can do an hour, that's what I like to do, when I go walking, and it is the best. Just get your body moving."

She loves to get outside and hike, too

She's shared her journey and progress with her 10.5M followers, including her love for hiking, walking, and early morning sprints. The star has even posted about her love of tennis—she actually wanted to go pro.

Wilson admitted, "I never thought I would like hiking—walking uphill. Who would have thought that would be a fun activity? But freak, it's good! Get out in nature. Get air into your lungs. I really, really love it, so I do it now all the time" (via Prevention). In fact, the star likes to tune into a motivational podcast while she enjoys this outdoor cardio.

She's worked on resistance training, HIIT, and mobility moves

Now, Gunnar Peterson chatted with The Sun about what Wilson's workout schedule looks like these days and her mentality when she hits the gym. Peterson revealed, "It's an athlete mindset—she's getting it done. And every day doesn't have to be about personal records, it just has to be something. I love that, because that's a very realistic and sustainable approach to fitness."

Peterson continues to say that in the workouts, he focuses on resistance, HIIT cardio, and movement patterns with a mix of squatting, working on the treadmill, performing dumbbell rows, and more. He adds Wilson is such a joy to work with, saying, "She is a delight. She's driven, she's fun to be around, as you can imagine, and she works hard."

It's so admirable that Wilson fits in working out amid an incredibly busy schedule. "… Her work schedule is not enviable. I work a lot and then I look at Rebel and I go: 'Good lord, this woman!' She's producing, she's writing, it's a lot. She's non-stop," Peterson said.

Wilson looked totally fit and radiant recently at the 2022 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). She posted a great picture on the 'gram in a black evening gown, and her followers showed all the love. Paris Hilton commented, "Stunning!" and other fans absolutely agreed, saying the star looks "beautiful," "gorgeous," and "absolutely glowing." It's safe to say Wilson is making major moves in her workout regimen and in her career.
