There are some Wendy's classics, like the Frosty and the Dave's Single cheeseburgers, that will never go away. But that doesn't mean there haven't been some discontinued Wendy's items over the years that are now in the fast-food graveyard. While some of them, like spicy nuggets and the pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger, have made triumphant comebacks, others will never be seen again.
Here are some of the Wendy's foods we miss the most. And for more, don't miss these 15 Classic American Desserts That Deserve a Comeback.
Frescata Sandwiches

When you think of Wendy's, you probably think of the Baconator and Frosty frozen treats. Deli sandwiches? Not so much. But in the early 2000s, Wendy's offered Frescata sandwiches, piled high with deli meat and vegetables. They were pulled from the fast-food chain not long after their introduction; people just weren't looking for deli sandwiches from a burger joint.
Salad Bar

Believe it or not, Wendy's had a salad bar, called the Superbar, back in the day. But thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, all salad bars are gone, and buffets might be a thing of the past. (Still, the Wendy's salad bar was gone long before the pandemic hit, although there are still salads on the Wendy's menu.)
Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty
Despite its fun name, the Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty didn't make it in the end. You can still get a chocolate or vanilla frosty, but this flavor is just one of the 15 Discontinued Fast-Food Desserts We Miss.
Chicken Caesar Pita

Frescata sandwiches aren't the only out-of-the-box creation Wendy's has tried over the years. The chicken Caesar pita wrap isn't on the menu at Wendy's anymore, but it lives on in fans' hearts.
Queso

Back in 2017, Wendy's offered three queso-themed items: a Bacon Queso Burger, the Bacon Queso Chicken Sandwich, and Bacon Queso fries. Everything is better with cheese, so it's a shame this trio didn't stand the test of time.
Bacon and Blue Burger

With this Wendy's sandwich, introduced in 2010, you could have the gourmet toppings of a restaurant burger right at the fast-food chain. This is one we'd still eat today!
Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger

Wendy's Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger was another restaurant-style burger that was ahead of its time. We'd love to try it if it ever came back, though.
