What makes the frozen pizza at Costco so special? It would have to be the price. Compared to other common store-brand frozen pizzas, Costco seems to have the cheapest price per pie compared to the rest. Depending on where you are located, you can snag a 4-Pack of Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizzas for just $9. This would mean one cheese pizza pie would cost you $2.25 a pop.

If you were to compare this price to the prices of other store-brand frozen pizzas, you'll notice that the Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza is significantly cheaper. Target's frozen pizza prices range from $2.99 to $5.99 (depending on if you buy Market Pantry or Good & Gather), and Walmart's frozen pizzas cost around $2.78. This would mean with the Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza you could save anywhere between $0.71 to $3.71 per pie at Target, and $0.57 at Walmart.

These savings may not seem like much, but they certainly add up in the long run! Given that the Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza comes in a 4-pack, that would mean you would save between $2.96 and $14.96 compared to Target, or $2.12 at Walmart. You can buy a whole extra frozen pizza (or box of four!) with that kind of savings.

Along with the cheap price, Costco's Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza is also an easy base for a healthier weeknight dinner you can make for your family. While eating cheese pizza alone won't give you much nutritionally, you can add more to your pizza that will boost the nutrition and fiber of each slice—making your pizza a lot healthier than it was before.

You can do this by adding all kinds of fresh-cut veggies on top of your pie, like bell pepper slices, onions, mushrooms, artichokes, squash, broccoli, spinach, kale, cherry tomatoes, and even sliced olives. You could even add in some slices of chicken sausage for added protein!

Once you have your chosen pizza toppings, all you have to do is top them onto the frozen pizza before baking, and let them roast right on top of the pie. Easy-peasy!

One serving of each Costco Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza is 1/4 of the pizza and 290 calories, plus some extra calories from your toppings. Serve it with an extra side salad for even more added fiber, or fresh veggies to dip like carrots, celery, bell peppers, or sugar snap peas.
