Brittany Anas is a former daily newspaper reporter who worked for The Denver Post and Boulder Daily Camera. She then became a federal background investigator (oops!) but quickly returned to journalism. She’s now a full-time freelancer based in Denver, Colorado, and writes travel and health articles for magazines, newspapers, and websites. In her free time, she coaches youth basketball and scouts out new Colorado hiking trails with her potbelly pig-gremlin mix, the rescue described as a “Boston Terrier.”
