The Newest Starbucks Creamer Flavor Will Be Toffeenut Latte

The impeccably balanced mix of toffee and coffee arrives early next year.

Earlier this year, Starbucks announced a new line of creamers based on some of the brand's most popular creative concoctions: Cinnamon Dolce Latte, Caramel Macchiato, and White Chocolate Mocha. Then, last week, out of nowhere, Starbucks announced another new flavor—one that would also be inspired by a popular beverage at the chain.

However, Starbucks didn't actually reveal what the flavor was. Instead, the company ran a weeklong social media contest. Over the course of last week, Starbucks customers could tweet at the brand with their guess, alongside the hashtag #StarbucksCreamerMysteryFlavor. The first 50 folks to guess correctly earned a free bottle of the stuff—whatever the flavor happened to be—before it hit shelves nationwide.

Some users grounded their guesses and tossed out safe predictions based on recent hits:

Some users had fun with it, and imagined the brand would release something inspired by a Hershey's bar:

Some were wildly hopeful, and wondered if Starbucks would release a creamer inspired by a beloved beverage that was (sadly) cut from this year's holiday menu:

Some folks even guessed "Irish Cream," like the newly released cold brew flavor:

And some folks tossed out "Pumpkin Spice," perhaps not realizing that Pumpkin Spice Latte creamer is already a thing:

Needless to say, they were all wrong. Now that we finally have an official answer, prepare yourself for the arrival of…Toffeenut Latte creamer.

As reported by QSR Magazine, the creamer itself will become available in January 2020, at a currently unspecified price point. (For what it's worth, the 28-ounce Caramel Macchiato one retails for $5.49, so one can assume it'll be in a similar range.) In the meantime, though, if you want that impeccably balanced mix of toffee and coffee, you'll just have to make a trip to your nearest Starbucks.
