While supermarket hummus brands have stuck to producing savory flavors like garlic and roasted red pepper, food bloggers have been churning out batches of sweet dessert hummus for years. (And posting drool-worthy photos of it all over the Internet.) Enter: Delighted By, a new hummus company bringing the healthy dessert to grocery stores in a variety of flavors including snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, brownie batter, and orange-ginger. The best part: It's made with a short list of clean ingredients and it's been formulated to fit into just about everyone's diet. It's completely free of gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, and nuts, and features ingredients like coconut milk (which makes it super creamy), coconut oil, cocoa powder, and of course, the chickpea-tahini combination that makes hummus, hummus. To sweeten it up, they use things like coconut sugar and turbinado sugar, both of which made our list of healthy sweeteners. Hummus is naturally rich in muscle-building protein, satiating fiber, and slimming healthy fats, making it the perfect diet-friendly base for these sweet mix-ins.

So, where can you get this sweet new spread? Delighted By can be found on the shelves of 44 Wegman's stores across the nation. (If you don't live close to a Wegman's, you can help bring Delighted By to a store near you by signing a petition found on their website asking Whole Foods to bring the brand to their store.) And after you've got your hands on a container or two, we suggest using it as a dip for fresh fruits like apples and strawberries.
